ipod car jacks

I have a question concerning ipod car adapters and RCA jacks.?

I have little knowledge about cars and electronics.
I want to buy an ipod car adapter but I’m confused about what to get.
I’ve heard unbalanced things about FM transmitters.
I also discovered some in which you connect it to the RCA in your car.
I have a 2003 Kia Rio Cinco. How can i tell if this has an RCA jack?
